Our oldest cat, Coatrack is on his second Christmas season with us. He wanted to celebrate. Starting by being on top of the coats. The previous night, Danelle wasn’t sleeping well, so she slept on the sofa. She heard Coatrack in the Christmas tree. I wanted to see this for myself, so I put some … Continue reading “Christmas Cat – 12/15/2018”
Corvin plays the bass in the Webster Groves High School Orchestra. This is the first concert of the year. He had to get all dressed up and appears sharp! We did our best to find good seats where we could see Corvin, but its hard when he is in the back. Before the concert, there … Continue reading “Webster Groves High School Orchestra – 12/4/2018”
After visiting Don Robinson park with Danelle, I wanted to go back and hike the other trail. With this destination in mind, I told Corvin that today’s driving lesson would be driving to Don Robinson to hike. He was up for the adventure and we set out. The weather was supposed to turn to rain, … Continue reading “Don Robinson with Corvin – 11/23/2018”

I woke up early with him on Thanksgiving and drove down to the start of the race. We got there early expecting parking to be tight, but 45 minutes early means great parking. It … Continue reading “Turkey Trot – 11/22/2018”

Don bought land trying to create a place the size of Central Park in New York City. Don Robinson is 800 acres while Central Park is slightly bigger. The hiking trails are supposed to be good … Continue reading “Don Robinson With Danelle – 11/18/2018”
I don’t remember how many years we’ve had our sectional sofa, but it has to be getting close to 10 years. Its taken a lot of abuse from the kids. Lots of climbing over and sitting down hard. Eventually some wood broke and it wasn’t providing the support it was supposed to. Furniture is too … Continue reading “Sofa Repair – 11/10/2018”
Corvin went with Mia to the Friendship Dance. It was held at Kirkwood high school, but Webster Groves students were also invited.
Nothing really sticks out except for Corvin’s Halloween costume. He used the box from our new microwave. I’m not sure exactly what he would say that he was, but it was amusing. And when he wanted to use his phone, he rotated so one of the arms was in front… Hogan Haake
Halloween is one day away and we were making chocolate covered treats for a party. Danelle with some of the normal treats. I decided to have some fun and make some special creepy treats. I started by breaking up some pretzels to get some different shapes, then I made my creepy treats. Hogan Haake
