It looks like the majority of the rock has been delivered. This includes the extra rock that was needed to shore up the foundation due to poor soil. It won’t look like much to you, but it was sheer joy for us to see more progress.
There is an upper and a lower part as the lower part will get its own footer wall to provide the needed support. The driveway entrance also looks nice with all of the rock spread out.
Now the backhoe is leaving and we’re back to just an empty site. We’re hoping for just a little progress every day. That will get our house over the finish line quickly. Bring on the concrete footers [please].
