I brought Danelle out with me for the weekly Creve Coeur 5K paddle. She was meeting her co-worker, Hannah. They would paddle our C2 and I was paddling our C4. I dropped Danelle and the C2 off and went to a different part of the lake to meet/unload the larger C4. The day was windy, but I tend to go out in all sorts of weather. As we rounded the lake, we found Danelle and Hannah on the shore cheering us on. They also got a few photos of us.
I learned after the paddle that Danelle and Hannah flipped in the wind near shore. They were doing their best to stay warm till after the paddle. I wish I knew sooner so I could bring the car and warm clothes to them.
