Walking up the stairs, we noticed something that we didn’t like. It seems that the top landing of the steps isn’t level. We didn’t notice coming down, but could see it going up. Considering that we want this to be our forever home, we need it to be as correct as possible. There is also concern that uneven footing at the to of the stairs could lead to tripping and falling down. You might be thinking, how bad could it be if you didn’t notice. Look at the photo below and decide.
It turned out to be 3/4 of an inch lower on the left side of the photo. We’ll have the builder take care of this. Its just a little frustrating to still be dealing with uneven floors. But in the spirit of transparency, here it is.
