Its an annual tradition that Tilles Park decorates the whole park into a winter wonderland. There are options to walk, drive, or horse drawn carriage through the park. Surprisingly, the walking tickets (which are limited) sell out very fast. We choose to make a night of it and take the horse drawn carriage through the park. This has the added benefit of enhanced visibility for all passengers as we go through the park. Coty tells us that she loves horses. You might be hard pressed to tell from this photo.
She did warm up to the horse and claims that the hot breath of the horse was unnerving.
I didn’t bother taking any photos during the ride as I was doing my best to be in the moment and enjoy the conversation and lights surrounding us. It was a great way to spend time with the family, but it seemed to be over as soon as it started!
