With the recommendation of her head coach, Sonora applied for the Carl Fricks Sportsmanship Scholarship. Not surprising to her adoring parents, she won a $1,000 scholarship for college. 
While Coach Potts could not make it to the award ceremony, we did catch her at practice. We appreciate her nominating and motivating students to be their best!
This award is appreciated and will be used for her tuition!
