We have been considering purchasing land or a house in northern St. Louis area to move when the kids are out of high school. We have seen lots of places at varying price ranges, but none of them said “buy me”! That is until we came across a few acres in Alton, IL. This is not too far from Danelle’s work and I don’t mind driving and can work remotely occasionally. We gave it some thought and decided to make an offer on this property.

I’ll spare you all the drama, but it took nearly two months to get an offer acceptable to the seller. It is ours now and we’re super excited for the next steps!
