The weather was warm and I wasn’t burnt out on paddling after lots of races the past month! Sonora came out to try the weekly Creve Coeur 5k race with me. I brought my two fastest boats. Sonora would be in the Epic V7 which is more stable. I would paddle my Northstar Landick II. It was a tight fit to get them both on top of the RAV4.
It took a bit for Sonora to get comfortable in the V7, but she started to get the hang of it.
Unfortunately she found it to be a bit much and didn’t complete the 5K. That didn’t stop me from continuing on.
Of course no month would be complete without a unicycle trip and cats.
Finally, I upgraded my curtain that I use for backgrounds at work. My previous background was a photo of my boss Erwin on a 80×80 inch shower curtain hung behind my desk at home. I replaced it with the same size, but 6 different photos of Erwin. Since I didn’t need the original, I brought it into the office for Erwin to keep. Rumor has it he put it in his son’s shower to mess with him for a day or two.
