I’ve often said that the World Cup Soccer tournament is a chance for Americans to pretend they care about soccer for a few days. With our exchange student, Coty, it was a bit different this year. She is from Argentina and they are in the final.
Coty made sure to get her country’s flag for watching the game!
We got up early and got the game on the TV right away. Coty is normally reserved, but during this game, she resorted to some rapid fire Spanish at the TV to let the players know how she felt about a few plays. Ultimately Argentina won the game and she was quite pleased.
