This week’s 5K at the lake was fantastic. It started off be my loading two boats on the car. Danelle decided to come out and paddle with us.
Tonight was the first time she paddled the Landick II. The photo below is here paddling away from me. She looked comfortable.
If she loved the boat, I would gladly give it up to her to go fast and I could do something else. While she did like it, she found it a bit cramped for space. She still prefers not racing solo and her trusty plastic kayak. I can’t argue with that. She’ll still race with me in a multi person boat. It was a lovely night to race with friends. I’m thrilled Danelle came out even if she didn’t take to the faster racing canoe. Maybe next time!
