Continuing our weekend trip away, we hit our second state. Danelle was there again to help us with filming.
Corvin was ready to take off, always waiting on me.
We are in Memphis getting ready to ride on the pedestrian bridge over the Mississippi river. don’t worry, we won’t go too far into Arkansas.
Half way across, we got our picture, then headed back across. There is a fantastic trail along the river that we wanted to ride all the way back into downtown Memphis. They have multiple statues along the way that we played with.
There has been issue nationally with statues that celebrated confederate war people. Being more socially ware, these are being taken down. In order to better honor the city, Corvin and I propose this as a model replacement for this recently removed statue!
We ended up riding to and around the Bass Pro pyramid in the background of the photo above. Then to meet Danelle, we ended up riding into Memphis away from the river to make it easy to pick us up. Corvin and I actually had a very enjoyable social ride taking in all around us!
