Its spring break and both of the kids are scheduled to be home. Even better, Corvin is bringing Madison with him for the week. Corvin has bee teasing Sonora that he’s going to break up with Madison before spring break so she won’t get to meet Madison. Of course this didn’t happen. So we opened spring break by making Corvin’s room up for his return. Just to add to the fun, I stuffed the bed to make it look somebody was in there.
We had many things available to entertain Corvin and Madison. Ultimately they went off and did their own thing most of the time. Danelle, Sonora, and I were a little sad to not spend as much time with Madison and show her our city, but she is Corvin’s girlfriend.
We did manage to get out to the climbing gym twice.
Also nearly as important was getting to our favorite restaurant, Havana’s Cusine. The food is almost as good as getting to visit with Tania (the owner’s daughter and family friend).
Instead of relaxing after a filling lunch, it was piggy back ride time!
We took the whole family out to a St. Louis Blues game. There we met up with the Neimeyer family with adjoining seats.

The week went way too fast. Even better is that we all enjoyed Madison’s company. We hope they come back to visit again!
