We purchased bathroom vanities from a local store and they came in stock. They don’t delivery but do have people that subcontract deliveries. It was going to be at least $200 to get them delivered. Since Danelle and I are capable of doing this, we decided to save the money and pick them up directly. We drove the RAV4 with the trailer to the store and got 3 vanities in the trailer and one inside the vehicle.
There are actually 4 boxes in the trailer, the middle one is the in stock vanity top. The other 3 vanity tops are on order still. We wanted to put all of this in the basement so its out of the way of construction. This meant backing the trailer down as far as I dared to the back doors. This is the same location the lift got stuck and had to wait for the ground to freeze. I backed all the way down with the trailer. Danelle watched and let me know that one of my tires came off the ground on the RAV4.
I had to get a bit of a running start to get out but it saved a bunch of work moving vanities by hand!
On the roof, we’re still not finished. There are a few last minute touch up items.
