I have several very interesting friends. One of those friends is Dave O’Leary. We met from the volleyball team that we mutually play on. Dave posts a lot on social media and seems to always be doing something and asking for friends to join him. Today, Danelle and I reached out and joined him for a paddle from Route 66 to Sherman Beach. Its a section of the Meramec river that we don’t get on often and we were looking forward to it. Dave got a new whitewater boat he wanted to try out.
While its not a “fast” boat, Dave did a great job of keeping this boat moving for the whole paddle. Danelle and I were in our aluminum canoe together.
Thanks Dave for inviting friends out. It was refreshing to get out and paddle. And your company isn’t too bad either 🙂
