We wanted to get out together before Corvin left for college. The Festival Of Nations in Tower Grove Park was an easy choice. We had gone before and found it a good time. We planned to sample more of the diverse foods there than we had in previous years. With a pocket full of cash, we headed out together.
This year was a bit of a bust. The organizers added a 30% surcharge at checkout for all vendors. So that coveted pocketful of cash didn’t go very far. Others that have been in the past commented how it was just not same hit festival they have experienced in the past. I’m glad that we spent the family time together, but don’t need to go back any time soon 🙁
