The St. Louis Symphony was giving a free concert tribute to Curtis Mayfield. We decided to go and check it out. We had never been to Powell Hall before and were quite surprised at how nice it is. We made sure to get there early since there were no assigned seats. We were pleasantly surprised to get second row seats. There were lots of seats on stage, but we were not brave enough to venture up there before they were all taken.
Naturally we were on our best behavior.
