Corvin came home and was at the finish line of the MR340 this year. It was a lovely surprise getting to see him back in St. Louis. He was only here for a week. He definitely missed the cats! Its still up in the air if they missed him…
Part of the reason he came in town was to participate in the Webster Groves High School Alumni XC race. Here he is with other past alums.
He is also training for his first IronMan race. He brought his bike home. We went out to a lake and Jackson Tar and I were safety boats while he got practice with open water swimming.
It wasn’t easy as he forgot his goggles and had trouble seeing where he was going. I was still proud of him for training. Swimming is his worst phase of IronMan. If he gets past it, I’m confident he’ll finish. Also as I’m writing this slightly after it happened, he did finish and become an IronMan. We’re proud of him!
