A few months prior, I was invited to a house concert by my buddy Mark Fish. I didn’t know what to expect but was excited to experience something new. Mark has an amazing condo in the Benton Park area of St. Louis that used to be a school. His place has huge ceilings with plenty of open space. Any live music was going to sound great. At the time I was invited, I didn’t realized the artist, Aaron English was anything more than just a random guy playing music. It turns out that he is a dynamic guy that travels around the world playing professionally and writing new music.
Of course, I brought Danelle with me as a lovely date night.
When we walked in, the mingling had already started. We ended up talking with Aaron for a while and were amazed with his background and stories. I felt like he was a long lost friend I was reconnecting with. Its easy to understate the charisma that Aaron brings to a room. Eventually it was time, and we settled down for the concert.
Aaron has been part of a larger band but is currently a one man show. Most of his concerts are these small intimate events at houses. We were blessed to be part of this evening!
