State 34 – South Carolina

3/17/2020

This ride started off boring and uninteresting. We were riding the Swamp Rabbit Trail in Greenville, South Carolina. The trail is 22 miles long and I hoped that I had picked the right section to ride. Once parked, we wanted to get going as the rain was scheduled to show up. After a few missteps, we got going the correct way on the trail that I had mapped out for us.

This plane was along the path and we stopped to check it out.

Shortly after encountering this plane, the path started getting urban. We enjoyed the increased number of people out using the trail. Then we came to what we were looking for. The creek/river was dammed up and had some fantastic water features to look at!

Looking from up high at some of the water features.

Loving the rapids.

Here is the most cool bridge. Its curved the whole way over the waterfall!

Here is a great view of the bridge. When this office building is complete, it will have an amazing view!

Its hard to describe how peaceful this is.

We stopped to get a few tacos before heading back.

These were delicious!

After the tacos, we rode promptly back to the car to avoid the impending rain. This was definitely one of our higher up rated rides!
