Mandy’s Wedding – 4/26/2017

Mandy and Brandon got married today at Dr. Edmund A. Babler Memorial State Park. We were lucky enough to be invited to the ceremony. This park is a decent drive from our house, so I’m not sure we’ve ever been to it before. When we got there, it was drizzling rain and preparing to storm more. Not wanting to get in the way as we were a bit early, I checked out a nearby water tower hidden in the woods.

With the tower properly explored and my dress shoes muddy, we proceeded to the shelter for the ceremony. Its an old shelter with a fireplace that faces 4 different directions. They had a small fire on each of the four sides providing a nice atmosphere.

In a classic Hogan move, I stopped taking photos and have none of the bride and groom. It may have been because there were threats of a tornado in the area and the wind and rain accelerated the day a ton. At least I have one photo of people… Maybe next time I’ll pay better attention!
