August – 2023

School dance season is coming up and Sonora was getting ready, but maybe not.

I don’t know what was going on with the kids here, but they were getting along wonderfully with lots of laughter.

In anticipation of my upcoming motorcycle ride, I wanted to get some seat time. Turns out that the ferry to St. Genevieve, Mo is closed, so I had to go back the way I came. Still worth looking at the Mississippi river for a few minutes before I left.

Sonora drive me somewhere and I wanted to capture what the sun roof does to her hair.

A friend came over to visit and wanted to look at my Kruger Cruiser. I didn’t put it away completely and the garage door bent the rudder. Looks like I need to replace it.

I met Eric and rode out to his property. He doesn’t come into the office anymore and I wanted to catch up with him. The weather was perfect and we had a fantastic time chatting. We sat in chairs and talked about our futures and what we wanted to develop on our property. Then we decided it was getting dark and time to go home. Turns out that as soon as we left his tree covered property, we saw the clouds up north. Before long, huge bolts of lightning… We raced north, but both ended up soaked from rain we were unprepared for.

Coty also got wet, but she wanted to go out and dance in it.
