State 10 – Kentucky

July 6, 2019

Next up on our fast weekend trip was the state of Kentucky.

Where we crossed into Kentucky had the state border of a river. This meant that the state sign was on a busy highway, making it difficult to document. we drove more than 30 miles out of our way to find this state sign. Now it is early morning and we’re about to ride through downtown Louisville.

Thanks to our early morning arrival, we were able to park right across the street from the Louisville Slugger Museum and get some photos.

Its a baseball town for sure, but we’ll stop with the baseball photos.

Corvin and I upgraded several local statues to make them more authentic.

You should ride your unicycle over there!

When we stopped to look at this old car, I was surprised how large the old wheels are. The unicycle on the left has a 32″ tire and the one on the right a 29″ tire.

I’m a fan of docked bike sharing. You know where to pick them up and drop them off. We spent some time being silly around these stations.

Even on a unicycle, you have to bring tools. My seat came loose during the ride. This is me lining it back up before tightening it back so I can continue riding.
