What a busy month. Its the end of the summer and things are winding down. What crops are left after our warm summer are getting harvested. Near my work, there’s a field of corn that looks like its hobby sized for a farmer. And there on the property was a two row combine.
After our New York trip, we sent my mom home on Amtrak. The kids were going to miss her, but she needed to get home!
Hiatt came in for work and spent a week in town. I was able to meet him for breakfast and hang out for a bit.
Speaking of hobby farming, our garden turned out a huge quantity of tomatoes, but none of them wanted to ripen 🙁
