This year’s family vacation like the previous year’s had been planned for over a year. We were going to drive down to Austin Texas and see my cousin Leslie get married. Of course Danelle and I had additional plans to make it as fun as possible for the whole family. Today’s goal was simply to get out of St. Louis and on the road. We headed directly for Kansas City to spend the night at my parents house. We packed and took off right after work and got in late as normal.
